Two additional counties began supporting the college: Pontotoc County (1953) and Chickasaw County (1972). In 1963, ICC Tupelo Campus operated in vacant buildings and shops procured from businesses in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1966, the school relocated to a 65,500-square-foot complex, which has grown
to include 14 buildings. In 1987, the institution's name was officially changed to Itawamba Community College. In 2009, Itawamba Community College’s Belden Center opened to house noncredit programs, Adult and Continuing Education Programs within the Economic and Community Services Division. The facility is situated on 30- acres, located on
