It's Just A Band: A Music Analysis
“It's just a band!” they say. Well, to some people they aren't. For some people, like me, music helps them deal with depression and anxiety. One of the most common mental health problem is depression and anxiety, mix. 1 in 6 people will suffer from depression, and 1 in 4 people from anxiety in just Australia.

“Without music, life would be a mistake.” ~ Friedrish Neitzsche. As we all know, music affects our mood, it's the rhythm and tone that does this. We can actually feel what we are listening to due to a major key and minor key. This is why we cry at sad songs and want to dance at happy and energetic songs. It has been proven that music therapy has helped depression. Suicide rates have actually been reduced by 87% due to what people consider to be “emo” music.

This is one reason I believe music can help with depression and/ or anxiety. All Time Low is one band I will always suggest to someone who is going through some sort of stuff. Most songs sound happy, but their lyrics are relatable for a troubled person. One of my favorite quotes by them, that I believe can help someone during an anxiety/panic attack, is “ Breathe. Remember its just chemicals”~ Alex
