Ivory Coast has four major river systems that flow southward and blocked from going into the Gulf of Guinea by barrier islands in which created lagoons. The forest region consists of dense forest and covers approximately one-third of the country. In Ivory Coast, there are approximately eight major urbanized cities. Their structures are modernized office buildings, condominiums, and have some French –style restaurants. The urbanized cities are home to more than fifty percent of the Ivory Coast’s population that are of high-class statute. They determine their social classifications by wealth and urban housing mainly like other countries do. Their leading export goods were cocoa, pineapples, and palm oil just to name a few. The rest of land outside the urban areas is mainly rural areas with little villages and usually have dirt roads leading to them. Their homes vary from mud and straw brick huts or mud brick homes with cone shaped roofs. The roofs are usually made of thatched straw or corrugated-steel. Although French is their official language, they have over sixty native languages that divided into four different major branches of the Niger-Congo language. It will definitely take time for the Ivoirians to trust us and believe that we are there to help their people survive for future endeavors. Air attack or strategic bombing if needed can take the rural areas minus the religious places, easily. After we show the people that we want to help better their living conditions and treat the illnesses, then I know they would be happier. The ones who resist, we would take captive and deal with them later. In conclusion, Ivory Coast gained its’ independence from the French and are still struggling with how to effectively run or manage a country of poverty, illnesses, high crime rates, culturally divided, and different politically viewed by its’ people. Although, their diverse trading and agricultural goods help with revenue, they still have to come together before they fall apart internally. After their weaknesses is exploited and with great strategies, Ivory Coast could be invaded and taken over with minimal attrition on United States side hopefully, as long as we win the hearts and minds of the
