Ivy Software Common Professional Component (CPC) Course Instructions
Ivy Software, Inc. is a company dedicated to providing CPC courseware for AACSB and ACBSP accredited college and university MBA Programs. They offer eight courses for PSU at the present time. To satisfy CPC requirements using their packages follow the steps below.
You must first contact Ferebee Smith (ferebee@ivysoftware.com) to obtain an access code for an assessment test. Once you have obtained an access code log onto www.ivysoftware.com and select the Tests tab on the home page. Then click on “log in to take a test”. Use the pull down menu (PSU group toward bottom of list) to select the appropriate assessment test. Enter your first and last name and the access code(s) listed below for the respective course(s) you wish to pass.
You will enter a multiple choice test. Please note that this is a timed test! You will have 45 minutes to complete. Once you have finished the test you will be notified of your score. You may take each assessment test only once.
Financial Accounting a Management Perspective (Accounting CPC)
Understanding Corporate Finance (Finance CPC)
Business Math and Statistics (Statistics CPC)
Fundamentals of Economics (Economics CPC)
Principles of Management (Management CPC)
Principles of Marketing (Marketing CPC)
Business Law Essentials (Legal CPC)
Information Systems (Computer/IT CPC)
If you pass the assessment test (75% or better) you are done and have met that CPC requirement.
Send me an email to sacolby@plymouth.edu and let me know of your success. You will be given a completion code. I will log in and verify your work.
If you do not pass, you will need to purchase the respective Ivy Software course for only $60 in an online format. To do so, log onto http://shop.ivysoftware.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=71, order the respective course and work at your own pace until you are ready to attempt the final exam.
