Even though his music isn't as common, Jack White's music is still listened to by millions. Music began its influence in Jack White’s life in the first grade and though he tried other careers, music continued to be his first love and became his career. His career path is interesting and has influenced millions of listeners.
In his young musical career Jack White started the well known band called The White Stripes with his ex-wife Meg White with her on the drums. The band started in 1997 and sadly ended in 2011. Alison Mosshart is the main singer of The Dead Weather while Dean Fertita is on guitar and keyboard. Jack in his early years he was known as Jack Gills and was the youngest of 9 other siblings. In his younger years Jack considered about becoming a priest. But later gave up and become an upholstery apprentice. He published an album with his co-workers they were called the Upholsterers but it didn't last he later joined different bands and did other gigs at one of them he met a bartender named Meg White. They later married and Jack taught her how to play the drums. Jack took her surname and became known as Jack White, they played many gigs at night while he still worked in upholstery. In 1999 they released their debut album called The Big Three Killed My Baby. In 2000 they divorced the band stayed together later in an interview Jack had to say, "When you see a band that is two pieces, husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend, you think, 'Oh, I see...'" he said.
