Jackie And Me Dan Gutman Analysis
In the story Jackie and Me ,By Dan Gutman , there has been many revealing actions that have connected Jackie and Joe. It is a must that Joe becomes better friends with Jackie because he will need him in risky situations because this time area isn't exactly a good time for colored people. The first revealing action is when Jackie sees that Joe has no place to go, so he kindly lets him stay at his place. This was the first of many acts that stroke the bond between Jackie and Joe. Coming back to the main sentence, I saw that Joe conforted Jackie when he couldn't go to sleep because of the stress on his shoulders. This act of caring between two people that had the same skin color showed that they would be together through thick and thin.

These facts helped determine that once you learn an item has a specific color, you will always associate that item with that color.
