Jackie Robinson

When you mention the name Jackie Robinson, I automatically ring a bell in your head of actually who he is. Jackie Robinson as a African American man who is considered to be one of the greatest players to ever play the game of baseball. Even though Jackie Robinson is extremely successful at what he did, I am certain that he faced many optical and barriers. The only way you can progress through these optical and barriers are to have a set of values and beliefs that you must go by. Value: A belief that is important to you and helps to guide your life. Barrier: A problem or obstacle that stops you from moving forward. The three values that stand out the most are Determination, Persistence, and Citizenship. Not everyone is blessed with all the fortunes in the world, sometimes we have to work extra hard to succeed.
In anything that we would like to succeed I we must be determined. Determination is staying focused on a plan even though the path to its end may be difficult. When I was younger I was very determined to play sports, but my opportunities seemed limited. At my age I considered myself to be one of the best football players we had. Unfortunately, it was hard for me to actually showcase my talents, because sometimes I would miss or even have to walk to my practices or games. During life we all face many obstacles, and barriers while trying to achieve a goal. Even though we may not know what’s the opposite term for working toward a goal continuing to move forward even though you face obstacles or barriers we’ll were using a term know as persistence. As I work toward achieving my goal the I endured many barriers. Such as my physical ability to play sports, my knowledge for the game, & my parents working source. Citizenship plays a key role in the real world society. Citizenship is making a
