Jaguar Car Description
Jaguar, More Than Just a Car The first time I laid my eyes on her, I knew it was love at first sight. The way she glimmered in the sunlight when she was cleaned up and the way she looked so beautiful with all of those curves of hers. I knew that this was going to be a great relationship before she was even mine and that it could blossom into that lasting thing that I had been looking for. This 1982 Jaguar was just the car I had been looking for. The car company, Jaguar, came out with a car that had outstanding features ranging from the interior with all the different options to the exterior that was a marvel in engineering feats. Jaguar came out with one of the most unique cars that was ever built in 1982.
Jaguar had built many other types of sporty cars but nothing like what they had in mind like this. Romick’s (n.d.) publishing states that Jaguar got their start when they: released in 1979 as a 1980 model, the Jaguar XJ6 Series III was called the most refined XJ to date. The Series III retained the 4.2-liter straight-six engine and four-wheel independent suspension of the original XJ6 models, plus the fuel injection and electronic ignition that was introduced on late-model XJ6 Series II cars sold in the U.S. Styling on the body on the XJ6 Series III was done by Carrozzeria Pininfarina. It was the first time Jaguar went outside the company for design input. Design upgrades included a steeper windshield, increased rear headroom, taller front seats with adjustable lumbar support, flush door handles and increased sound insulation. The 1980 model carried a base MSRP of $25,000 and was loaded with high-end standard equipment like power sunroof, windows, mirrors, antenna and locks. Leather upholstery, matched wood veneer, cruise control, automatic climate control with separate rear controls, four-speaker AM/FM cassette and deep-pile carpeting were also standard (Early XJ6 Series III section, para. 3). At first glance, this four-door sedan looks like

In 1950, Ford took the wraps off a range of cars that were nothing less than revolutionary. Billed as five-star cars on account of the quintet of areas in which they pushed the boundaries, the Mk1 Consul, Zephyr and Zodiac packed independent front suspension, oversquare overhead-valve engines and monocoque construction – all firsts for the Blue Oval. As if that wasn’t enough, there were also 12-volt electrics and hydraulic brakes all round, making these family cars more usable than anything that had ever come out of Dagenham before.…

There have been many different car designs throughout the years but none as popular as the muscle cars of the 1960’s. The 1960’s was a golden era for American automakers with the creation of the vintage iron. With that era long gone, the automakers were driven to recreate visions of the past. The 1960’s muscle car is the inspiration to the newly resurrected models of 2010 with great style and performance. Muscle cars are an American icon, and it still holds true with the best redesigned models from the 1960’s: Chevy Camaro, Dodge Challenger, and Ford Mustang.…

Whether we want to or not, we all remember our first cars. Small, slow, clunky, and sometimes a little rusty, they usually weren’t something impressive. Transporting us to work, school, and home again and providing a level of freedom that we had never enjoyed before, they were necessary in our everyday lives. For that, we all retain fond memories; however, we all acknowledge that, when given the choice, we would have chosen to drive the coolest car on the market, especially when we have people to impress. Chevrolet’s “Boy Meets Impala” commercial of 1958 plays on this scenario, featuring strong pathos, connection to a specific audience, vital contextual ties, and persuasive content meant to encourage families to purchase the Impala convertible.…

Immediately, when I turned sixteen I woke up in the morning and saw a pair of shinny silver keys sitting on my desk. I jumped up with excitement and rushed out the door wearing only my boxers, with the keys dangling in my hand. There it was: my brand new GMC Envoy, dark hunter green with a wax that could blind you. I stared at the car with excitement and admiration; it was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, and it was mine. I took it for a test drive around the block and opened it up on the highway only three blocks from my house. It had a V8 under the hood, black leather seats, a Bose sound system and enough horsepower to tow anything I desired. After my first test drive around the neighborhood, I picked up the phone and called my friends. I couldn't wait to show off my new car. With a quick thank you and a hug for my parents, I sprinted out the door. Hearing a faint be careful from my mom in the background, I slammed the front door and raced to my car.…

When I was young, I was the critical romantic. I loved anything to do with pink and purple, flowers, love movies, candlelight dinners and two-seater convertible cars. To me, that was the meaning of romantic. As time has gone by, my perspective of what is romantic has changed a lot but, I dont know why, I still think of sitting in a two-seater convertible with my lover as a perfect romantic dream. Guess what? Last Sunday, my dream became my lifea sweet smile from my husband at the other side of a carwe had a MINI convertible for a day!It didnt take us too long to fall in love with the tiny two-door and it seems like everywhere we went we drew onlookers attention. Rather, I should say, the MINI was a hit—not us—even though we were an extremely handsome couple. Maybe it was the cool blue metallic that caught peoples eyes or its 17-inch 8-spoke alloy wheels, or could it have been the twin chrome exhaust tips at its lower rear. Anyway, the MINI radiates the most powerful image when compared to any other cars on the road.…
