Jalapeno Meatballs Recipe
Jalapeno Meatballs
Serves: 4-6
Time: 10 minutes
These little guys pack a kick! If you want to make a killer appetizer or make meat- balls the star of your spaghetti, try these pork-and-beef meatballs spiced with jalapeno rings, red pepper flakes, and cinnamon.
Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef
3/4 pound ground lean pork
1 big, room-temperature egg
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs 1/2 cup loosely packed, finely-chopped cilantro leaves
1 medium-sized yellow onion
1 (28-ounce) of crushed red tomatoes
1 1/2 tablespoons minced pickled jalapeno rings
2 teaspoons jalapeno-ring brine
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
