With a face that turns heads and his quick and inventive wit, Carrey has won a place in the hearts of movie watchers with his amazing blockbuster hits.
James Eugene Carrey, A.K.A Jim Carrey, began his life in Ontario, Canada on January 17th, 1962. To Percy and Kathleen Carrey. Carrey’s tendency to act goofy started when James was just a baby in a caddle. He would Constantly reject food from his parents, instead he would sit and make faces while sitting in his high chair. He often had his family rambunctious. “Later, as he learned what tricks his extremely flexible body could perform, family and friends would border the living room to watch his performance. While wild at home, Carrey was at first shy at school. He stayed in his shell until the move to Toronto, where he realized that his talent for clowning around could win him some friends (“Jim Carrey”1).

Many people know him as the funny and rugged face of comedy. He is Dane Cook. Sort of the anti-Mitch Hedberg. For others, he is a posterboy for an altogether different type of comedy: the plagiarizer, the man without a punchline. Personally, I have long held that Dane Cook is a performer and not a stand up comedian, in the way that Bob Villa was a TV show host and not a licensed contractor. There just weren't any JOKES in the conventional sense, just a lot of stage direction and exclamation points where the punchlines should be. This technique, of course, has made Dane very successful, frequently selling out stadiums and…

Conan O’Brien’s show is better. The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon is not bad, but it has the same type of jokes that have been told on that show for years. The jokes get a little repetitive after awhile. Fallon has to stay with those jokes because he wants to stay true to the character the show has had for years. Conan’s show is more original because he started it instead of taking over for someone else.…
