Naismith was a smart guy with various ambitions and ideas to make his life busy along with others around the world. Naismith was author of numerous articles and books and also elected to the American Academy of Physical Education in 1941 after his death. Named Associate professor and chapel director at University of Kansas in 1898-1909. Received master of physical education in 1910(MacLean’s 2000).Also ordained as a Presbyterian minister in 1915(MacLean’s 2000).Received Doctor of Divinity degree in 1939 at McGill University. Silver and Gold medals, for best all-around athlete at McGill University in 1885 and 1887(MacLean’s 2000). Posthumously elected to the American Academy of Physical Education in 1941(MacLean’s 2000). Enshrined as the first member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1959(MacLean’s
