To begin, Florida known as “the sunshine state” hooks you in as soon as you enter the state. The beautiful palm trees blowing in the wind, the numerous orange groves you see from the roadside and the welcome center offering fresh squeezed orange juice makes you feel so at home. There are so many beautiful exotic looking flowers in the landscaping of homes and businesses. Of course, the warmer climate is the main attraction in Florida. The annual average high is 79F degrees and the average low is 57F degrees. Snow rarely falls in most of Florida, but has on occasion in the northern peninsula. Florida also has an abundant annual rainfall especially during the months of June through September. In addition, Florida is located between the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf of Mexico, therefore it also has exceptionally high humidity and of course there is always a chance of hurricanes as well. Undoubtedly, both of these items are a major downfall to me.…

Managers and subordinates both have a very distinct relationship. As described in the article Who’s Got the Monkey by William Oncken, Jr., & Donald L. Wass, “the monkey” is the ultimate exchange between the manager and his or her team members. The monkey is most certainly the time, work effort, ethic, pressure, and most importantly, the responsibility that a manager and an employee exchanges throughout their time spent together. I personally view the “monkey” metaphorically as the big kahuna! Shifting the monkey between the two relevant parties is a task like no other because, the monkey is, essentially, the relationship between an employee and their boss; it is a valuable form of communication.…

Educated by Jesuits at Clongowes Wood College, Belvedere College in Dublin, and University College, he majored in philosophy and literature. He exiled himself from Ireland in 1904 and moved to Trieste where he taught English at the Berlitz School from 1905 to 1915.…
