Mr. Lloyd is the one who mentions the institute to Mrs. Reed and suggests that she sends Jane there. The Reed family is the family where Jane begins her life living with and is mean to her. Bertha Mason is the wife of Mr. Rochester who has problems in the mind. Richard Mason is Bertha’s brother and he stops the wedding. Adele is the little girl in whom Jane is governess to.
