Japanese American Internment Camps In The 1930's
In america in the 1940’s japanese americans were put into internment camps. This can be compared to the salem witch trials in 1642. A similar comparison to the salem witch trials would be what america did to the mexican americans in 1930’s. Though there can be many similarities there can also be many differences between these three events. In this essay i will discuss the similarities between each other and also the differences. The similarities between these three events in american history in all three events they all lost many of their rights,many of these people were innocent people. The internment camps were one of the most disrespectful things to a certain race in american history. The japanese american were forced out of there homes
and only allowed to bring one bag luggage and also told to leave everything else behind. All because of the bombing of pearl harbor they were thought to be spies for japan though at the end not any were never even accused for espionage. Another topic that can also be thought as similar but different also is the mexican americans in the 1930’s. Many mexican americans were deported to mexico over 2 million mexican american and undocumented mexicans were deported . More than half of these were documented american citizens that were hunted down like wild animals. These event all took place because the americans though during the great depression that they were taking there jobs .
