Jason Dessen Research Paper
Jason Dessen is a former research scientist who dropped everything in his career to start a family with Daniela, who was an artist. Friday was always a family night for Jason and his family, and one family night, Daniela allowed him 45 minutes to go to his colleague’s party and go home in time for dinner, with ice cream bought from grocery.

However, he does not go home that night. He ends up being pulled into another universe, where the Jason Dessen there is the Jason that didn’t drop his career for his family. The Jason there broke up with Daniela when she said they’re having a baby together, and then hooked up with Ryan Holder, his colleague. But waking up in another universe wasn’t in one of Dessen’s plan in life, and it was weird that

The choices we make in our lives, whichever way we had chosen, creates another universe and another version of ourselves. Then, the idea knocks him in the head – that the Jason Dessen from this universe was the one who kidnapped him from his universe. The Jason From Another Universe might have been curious what life was like when he dropped his career for his family.

But, Velocity Labs, the laboratory where Jason is under in the universe he was pulled in, wanted to kill him. Together with a psychologist, Amanda Palmer, he sets off on a journey to find the universe that contains his life, his family, and his work, where he is a Physics professor in Chicago.

While searching for his universe, they realize that whatever they feel and think creates another universe, and thus, more versions of him. Because of this, Amanda left because her feelings have been affecting the multiverse, and lots of Jasons has the same goal as he has – to return to his family.

Fortunately for Jason, he ends up home after travelling from universe to universe and finds Daniela, and their son Charlie. One of the Jasons shows up and nearly kills Jason, but they escape from near death and find a place without the other

Jason goes off by himself and looks at the roll of paper he sneaked into his backpack. We see a quick glimpse that they are some sort of blueprints. He hears someone approaching him and quickly stuffs the blueprints back into his backpack. The driver from the heist comes to talk to him. He tells him that he was glad that Jason lived up to his reputation of being one of the quickest boxmen in the business. Jason responds that he is not in the business, he is just doing what he has to. This is where we learn that Jason was forced to do this because he broke into the boss’ house to try and make some money. The boss caught him and was about to kill him when he realized that he broke into his high security safe with great ease. He allowed him to live but he would have to be his new “boxman.” This last heist was Jason’s first on the team. Jason looks somewhat somber after telling this story. The driver tells him not to feel bad about breaking into the vault, the people who owned it were corrupt and the police were trailing them anyway. He tells Jason that they are like Robin Hood, except that they keep money. After the team is done celebrating, they all go their spate ways with their shares of the money.…

In the opening scene, Medea 's nurse proclaims, "How I wish the Argo never had reached the land of Colchis, for then my mistress Medea would not have sailed for the land of Iolcus, her heart on fire with passionate love for Jason…And she helped him in every way…this indeed the greatest salvation of all" (Euripides 1). Amidst this pursuit, Jason must gather the Golden Fleece. However, at the site of this prize, the king of the island expresses that he does not want to relinquish the fleece and forces Jason to accomplish other tasks to get the chance to win the fleece. During this time Jason meets Medea, and the princess falls in love with Jason. Eventually, Jason gets the fleece and Medea resorts to murdering her brother in order to distract her father and allow for Jason to escape the island. Further, Medea also saves his life by killing the snake to get to the Golden Fleece, and she led Pelias’ daughters to murder their father. Amidst this adventure, Medea conceived two children from Jason. Although, by virtue of the fact that Jason sought after the superficial item of power, Jason eventually left Medea as he was given the chance to eventually become king of Corinth by marrying the daughter of the Greek city’s current king, King Creon. Though this news fails to sit well with Medea, whose face is inundate with tears and she begins to lament being a woman in the cruel, male-dominated society. This is evidenced by her bewailing which reads ““The man I loved, hath proved most evil.—Oh,Of all things upon earth bleed and grow, A herb most bruised is woman. We must pay Our store of gold, hoarded for that one day,To buy us some man's love; and lo, they bring. A master of our flesh. (Euripides 15) Moreover, as evidenced by the nurse, Medea is a diabolical witch and she will surely enact some form of vengeance. This led Medea and her children to become exiled by King Creon, based on the fear of Medea’s wicked plans of revenge. Ergo, attesting to the manner in which Jason’s departure had struck Medea emotionally and physically as she was now without a home. Though, Medea quickly goes on to devise a plan to get her…
