Jeffrey Dahmer Bio
"We serial killers are your sons, we are your husbands, we are everywhere. And there will be more of your children dead tomorrow." - Ted Bundy. Serial killers have long been the taboo of society since the beginning of time. The horror movie industry portrays serial killers through scary masks, or a maniac running around the streets with a knife; but the truth is most serial killers are introverted and were once abused as children. Serial killers are not born serial killers they are influenced at a young age, wether it be by their parents, an older next door neighbor, or a trusted school teacher. Serial killers are not born into the darkness, they are formed into it. An infamous serial killer who too was abused as a child is Jeffrey Dahmer. Dahmer was born in Milwakee Wisoconsin, a seemingly normal child in his early years, but as time wore on the things that happened to Dahmer began to show in the way he acted. As a young boy Dahmer was molested repeatedly by his next door neighbor. At age six Dahmer underwent surgery to fix a double hernia. After this surgery family members and friends said that he became introverted and lacked much confidence. Dahmer began getting necrophelic tendencies at around age 14 and after his parents divored in his latter teen years, he decided to act on this tendency. After Dahmer graduated high school he claimed his first victim, Steven Hicks. Steven hicks was a hitchiker who dahmer picked up on the way to his fmaily cabin. They engaged in consensual sex, but when hicks tried to leave Dahmer dsimembered his him. Dahmer packed the body in plastic bags and burried the bags in the woods. After Dahmer killed Steven Hicks he became a heavy alcoholic, joined hte military, and was discharged for alcoholism. He was arrested for disordly conduct in 1981, and again for masturbating in front of a young boy in 1986. Dahmer then went to live with his grandmother, where almost all of the rest of his murders occured. in 1987 Dahmer claimed his

The one that stands out most of all is his final killing of a fourteen year old boy named Konerak. This one is the most insane of all because it could have been prevented if it were not for the drugs that Mr. Dahmer slipped his victim. He would have been caught immediately, had the symptoms of the chemical Dahmer gave his victim been more apparent to the common observer. The drugs used made his victim seem more intoxicated then under the influence of a narcotic. As Konerak attempted to run, police came across him naked making little sense when talking, so it was believed the boy was merely intoxicated. Upon Dahmer´s request they returned him to his care, claiming the boy was his nineteen year old homosexual lover. Later the police would find out the mistake they had made.…

The prosecution argued that he did not suffer from necrophilia because he just wanted sexual partners that did not resist, dead or alive. They also described Jeffery Dahmer as a very cunning individual and that if he was insane he would not have had the ability to do all of the things he did. The prosecution also asserted that Dahmer was aware that all of the acts he committed were evil, but that he just chose to commit them anyway. If the prosecution would not have shown these simple facts then the outcome of this case could have been very different.…

All the victims were male. But all but one were black. The other one was of Latino descent. Black men fit the body type that he most fantasized about. Dahmer wanted to have complete possession of his victims. He wanted to keep them and for them never to leave him. This could have stemmed from the constant abandonment he felt as a child. Dahmer did not have the typical serial killer traits of childhood abuse, bed wetting as a child, or locking him up as some were. Mostly he suffered from neglected and an uneventful childhood. He did not exhibit the anger as most killers do. He was unhesitant in his confessions and helped authorities however he could. He was not self-centered or selfish. He did mention episodes that his actions were uncontrollable once he began the act. Complete possession of his victim was one of his strongest drives. He was obsessed with carcasses even at a young age. He was reclusive and often made fun of as a child in school.…
