Jeffrey Dahmer Personality Profile
Jeffrey Dahmer was a very well known serial killer in Wisconsin. He is described as a ruthless, evil, cunning, and malicious social being who may look like someone OK on the outside. He was seen as an inviting stranger - friendly and sympathetic - but in reality was the demon - Satan himself - who killed many people.
In the story, Jeffrey was described as a person who seemed inviting and friendly, but in reality was not. One of his victims, Traci, shows this very clearly. On page five, it states“‘I was in the mall when Jeffrey Dahmer showed up and asked if I wanted to have a party,’ Traci said, exhaling a cloud of smoke. ‘We all knew him from around the neighborhood. There was no way to guess he was a maniac. He was just an ordinary guy. I

What characteristics did he share with other serial killers? In the story, it shows that he is unable to control his impulses. It is shown that he basically completely possessed the other person. This is shown on page nine. “‘It was all so quick, he was experienced, and he had practice. It was all in one motion. I had the beer in my hand, and I'm talking about fish, and in an eyelash - boom! - the handcuff was on my wrist. And the tip of the blade was stuck in me. I looked down and I could see through my shirt. I was bleeding.’ Traci caressed the bandage under his t-shirt. ‘Then his eyes changed,’ Traci said. ‘Maybe the sight of red blood did it.’” This sudden movement proves the fact that Jeffrey’s impulses could not be controlled. Another piece of evidence is on page eight. “‘He said, ‘If you don't do what I say, I'm going to kill you.’ He said, ‘I've done this before. Don't make a move because I can kill you,’ he snapped his fingers, ‘just like that!’’” The fact that he has done this same exact thing before shows that he could not control his actions. Any sane person, after almost killing someone, would try to stop immediately instead of continuing with his dangerous acts. One of the reasons that fueled his impulses was the fact that he was homosexual. In all, his personality is very sudden, dangerous, controlled, and yet

From then all the way until his last arrest in 1991 his life was filled with secret killings and homosexual relationships which led to multiple killing. The one that stands out most of all is his final killing of a fourteen year old boy named Konerak. This one is the most insane of all because it could have been prevented if it were not for the drugs that Mr. Dahmer slipped his victim. He would have been caught immediately, had the symptoms of the chemical Dahmer gave his victim been more apparent to the common observer. The drugs used made his victim seem more intoxicated then under the influence of a narcotic. As Konerak attempted to run, police came across him naked making little sense when talking, so it was believed the boy was merely intoxicated. Upon Dahmer´s request they returned him to his care, claiming the boy was his nineteen year old homosexual lover. Later the police would find out the mistake they had made.…

One of the most famous questions of all time asks, “Why do serial killers, kill?” Everyone is different in their own way, so no one can really answer that question specifically. Dr. Helen Morrison, author of “My Life Among The Serial Killers” interviewed ten famous serial killers to try to answer this question. She found that almost all of them had similar characteristics besides killing. Unlike what most people believe, she surprisingly found that these characteristics did not include insanity, child abuse, or drug abuse. Instead she explains that their most common trait is that they have an emotional age of an infant. Other characteristics include fluent lying, the lacking ability to comprehend that they did anything wrong, and no memory of the murders however when they do remember they show no mercy.…

There is a phrase that is used to describe a killer who is both medically and legally sane, who murders again and again and again, until they are either captured or dead. That phrase/classification is "Serial Killer.' When most people, icluding myself, hear that phrase we tend to think of a social outcast, who is horribly ugly and mentally deranged. This is generally not true. In fact, most serial killers are very well liked by those who know them, they are also very attractive to members of the opposite sex (or in the case of homosexual serial killers members of the same sex), and usually have an above average I.Q. There are ways to categorize these vicious killers by the calling cards they leave at all of their crime scenes. This is what homicide detectives call "the signature" of the killer. It lies within the very nature of the killer that his signature will be recreated in each and every murder he commits. These categorizations include sadism, necrophilia, picquerism, and cannibalism.…
