He was happy for the most part, exactly how a child is supposed to be at that age. Things began to change for him at the age of six when he had minor surgery. Around that same time his mother gave birth to his younger brother. The birth of his brother and the surgery seemed to affect him. He began to isolate himself and became more insecure. Around that same time his father had to relocate for a new job. The family moved from Iowa to Ohio. He was attending a new school and living around new people, which significantly dropped his self-confidence. He was friendless for the most part. He says that his compulsions …show more content…
His first victim was a hitchhiker by the name of Steven Hicks. Dahmer picked him up after his high school graduation, and took him to his parent’s house. At the house they drank and had sex. Dahmer killed Hicks by smashing his head with a barbell, right after Hicks attempted to leave. He packed the corps in plastic and buried it in the woods behind the house. Jeffrey Dahmer had an uncontrollable problem with his consumption of alcohol. He was kicked out of Ohio State University for that reason. After he was kicked out of school, his dad made him joined the army. He was also kicked out of there for his alcoholism. He killed his second victim nine years after his first. Dahmer met his second victim; Steven Toumi in a gay bar. They checked into a hotel one might, and Toumi was dead by morning. He transported the body to his grandmother’s basement in a suitcase. He had sex with the corps and masturbated on it as well. Most of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims were African-American and/or from the gay community. He had many methods for killing them. A lot of times he applied a large amount of pain while they are still alive. He did things, such as drill into a skull, inject acid into veins. From then all the way until his last arrest in 1991 his life was filled with secret killings and homosexual relationships which led to multiple killing. The one that stands out most of all is his final killing of a fourteen year old boy named Konerak. This one is the most insane of all because it could have been prevented if it were not for the drugs that Mr. Dahmer slipped his victim. He would have been caught immediately, had the symptoms of the chemical Dahmer gave his victim been more apparent to the common observer. The drugs used made his victim seem more intoxicated then under the influence of a narcotic. As Konerak attempted to run, police came across him naked making little sense when talking, so it was believed the boy was merely intoxicated. Upon Dahmer´s request they returned him to his care, claiming the boy was his nineteen year old homosexual lover. Later the police would find out the mistake they had made.…

Experts have subcategorized the paraphilia according to where it falls on the necrophilia spectrum. Necrophilia or Lust murders are homicides in which the offender stabs, cuts, pierces or mutilates the sexual regions or organs of the victim 's body. The sexual mutilation of the victim may include disembowelment, penetration of skin, displacement of the genitalia in both males and females. In Jeffrey Dahmer’s case, all of the psychodynamics of lust murder were acted out on his male victims, some of whom he cannibalized. This type of necrophilia also includes activities such as "posing" and "propping" of the body, the insertion of objects into the body cavities, anthropophagy (consumption of blood and/or flesh) and…

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer was an American serial killer and sex offender from Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born on May 21st in 1960. His mother reported having a difficult pregnancy; he was a bubbly happy kid. But he was always sick he had ear infections and throat infections. But then at the age of two his family moved to Iowa and his father got a new job. Jeff and his father had a very good relationship. While he was in Iowa his father was cleaning out their crawl space where there were a lot of dead animal bones and Jeff reported saying that he loved the noise that they made. His interest in the noise of the animal bones is a slight warning of one of the MacDonald triads. He moved to Doylestown Ohio. After that started elementary school and his little brother David was born, his teachers reported that Jeff was starting to feel neglected. At this point his parents began to fight a lot and they were constantly yelling at each other, they each got separate rooms. After something exciting like moving happens, something bad always happens like his parents fighting so he associates good things with bad. Jeff would always leave his house and go into the forest by his backyard and hit the trees and wonder why his family just couldn’t get along. His family not being happy obviously affected him in a strong way and made him feel alone and helpless. Jeffrey suffered from a double hernia and had surgery to correct the problem at the age of 4. He was always sick and in the hospital. After that the Dahmers moved into a new house and he became friends with a little boy named Lee. This is another example, he tried doing something nice for someone and his teacher just gave them away which hurt his feelings so he killed the good thing. Jeffrey Dahmer adds his name to the long list of killers. Just like most serial killers, he too had a rough childhood; his mother left him and he became an alcoholic at a young age. He had trouble making friends and often tried drawing attention to himself anyway possible. Later in his teens he realized he was homosexual, fantasizing himself with other men and liked to dominate. His lust became violent even at the age of 16, as he planned to knock out a male jogger and do sexual actions to his unconscious body (Jeffrey Dahmer). Although such actions were not followed through, it was the first time he felt the need to harm someone else. Later on when he was 18 he committed his first murder (Jeffrey Dahmer). He picke up a hitchhiker, Steven Hicks, and both went back to his home. From there they drank together, but when Steven wanted to leave Dahmer knocked him out with a dumbbell. Dahmer stripped Steven of his clothes and masturbated as he stood above the corpse. Dahmer continued to pursue his lust. He became familiar with gay bars, gay bathhouses, and any other means of fulfilling his fantasies of control and dominance. It wasn’t enough for Dahmer he wanted more. Dahmer told police, “I trained myself to view people as objects of pleasure instead of people”(Jeffrey Dahmer). He was self serving his pleasure by doing sexual acts to people unconscious. He continued to lure people into his home, drug them, kill the victims, and perform sexual acts. Each time became more sadistic; he would dismember, save the skulls, save parts of the body to eat, and took pictures of his victims. He was a cannibal which is different than other serial killers in the past. Fox, who has studied serial killers for eleven years, says, “ In Dahmer’s case, everything was post-mortem. In a certain way, he was merciful, because he drugged his victims. They didn’t have the same sort of terror and horror the victims of…
