Jellyfish-Personal Narrative
It all started out at the reefs of the cold winter season in the Pacific Ocean. Against all odds there was Iro the jellyfish leader realized upon his jellyfish species that they were running out of food on their land. Benko and Seno the twins, the leaders of the sea turtles ruled the next land after them and made an agreement between Iro since long time ago during the massacre of the jellyfish and turtles for land. It was to never cross each others place or another war would break out between each other . Slowly dying jellyfish after jellyfish, Iro knew he had to do something and that was to cross the boundary that separates the jellyfish and the turtles and find a spot for sheltering with food for the jellyfish.
“Look now for we are dying of hunger, we can’t live on like this, we have to move on with our lives, abandon this place, and look far into the future for the best of our next generation of jellyfish!” Iro courageously speaking.
The citizen replied with her trembling voice, “The only way we could have the best future for our next generation is to leave this place and cross the terrifying turtle land, which will be a massacre!”
“It is our prime choice and only choice we have.’ Iro generously speaking. When crossing, Seno couldn't believe with his own eyes it was happening. After 50 years of peace jellyfish fish were crossing. He didn’t

Leave me take everyone with you I can keep dazing him till you guys get away I don't have much strength left just go!” The twins didn’t say anything but saw that with in their own eyes, saw a courageous leader and told everyone jellyfish and sea turtles to follow them. “We must evacuate the land while Iro can hold him off as long as he can, everyone follow us!” Several minutes later they all turned back and looked at the massacre of Poski and realized everyone who died didn’t deserve it. A new leader of the jellyfish name Dazzle rose up and told the twins to make an agreement that they’d end their

“Imagine this. There are glowing lights all around a ship in the middle of the ocean. An 18th-century sailor would most likely think that a monster was surrounding the ship—ready to ingest it and all the people onboard. Today, we know that the lights come from the phosphorescent glow of jellyfish. Although swarms of jellyfish can be beautiful, they can also be a central part of an ecological disaster in the making.” These sentences are quoted from writer Rosalind Fonem. She wrote about the effects of growing jellyfish population in her story called “Jellyfish Take Over”. The study of jellyfish population does, in fact, make her story true. In seas everywhere, the overpopulation of jellyfish has caused many fishermen to be out of jobs, power to be shut down because of clogged pipes, and fish population to decrease. But recent studies have shown that there is in…

American fiction writer, Danielle Evans, composes her short stories in such a way that the reader feels compelled to judge a character’s actions. Evans perfects the art of influencing a reader to relate to or feel strong emotion throughout a story. She centralizes the majority of her short stories on the concept of character isolation and the internal conflict caused by such isolation. This isolation stems from the rootlessness found in Evans’ characters. Her characters struggle to find a home, whether it be paternally, romantically, or internally, but they never quite make it there. The best example of this can be found in Evans’ short story “Jellyfish.” The two main characters, William and Eva, struggle with a multitude of internal issues.…

It was the middle of an away sophomore baseball game against DeWitt. My brother, Keegan, was up to bat. The pitch came, he swung and down he went. The baseball came off his bat and drilled him in the left eye. There was only one parent there, one of Keegan’s teammate’s dad. He drove Keegan to the hospital and called my parents. At the time, I was at a softball game working the scoreboard for the varsity West Delaware Hawks team. My mom called to tell me my grandma would pick me up when I was done and that her and my dad were on their way to the Iowa City hospital. My dad was at work at the time and met my mom there. They would explain more later. After they got down there and I got home with my sisters, I called my mom. She gave me an explanation…

The fact that my favorite jelly bean is yellow says something about my personality. Firstly, yellows are not usually outspoken. For instance, when my friends and I make plans to hang out I only say something if asked even if I do not like the plans. That is how I act in most if not all situations. Secondly, I have trouble making decisions in a lot of situations. In fact, I spent up to thirty minutes deciding if I wanted to go to a rodeo when my mother asked if I wanted to go. I tend to take as much tie as I can to make decisions I did with the rodeo issue. Thirdly, I attempt to understand why someone thinks the way they do. As an example, my friend mentioned his favorite character in a game was different than mine, so I asked my friend to describe…

The slaughtering of the dolphins is carried out using very cruel methods. Dolphins are acoustic animals meaning they are sensitive to sound; it is how they collect their information. The Japanese use this to their advantage and exploit their sensitivity and by whacking metal pipes along the sides of their boats, creating a loud, thundering sound. This creates a barrier of sound and drives them towards the bay as they attempt to escape the fearful noise, marking the beginning of a long and torturous process.…

There are unusual creatures that have inhabited our planet for at least 500 million years who spend a portion of their lives as plant-like polyps before transforming into some of the greatest ocean predators, all without having any brain, heart, backbone, eyes, ears or teeth. Cnidaria, otherwise known as jellyfish, are gelatinous animals found at all depths within all oceans around the world, and are some of the oldest animals evolutionarily speaking.…
