For example of what I am looking for in your paper see below on a separate question:
CEO’t t t s make millions of dollars in executive compensation and have come under fire for getting paid too much? Is it ethical to give executives large compensation packages?
Response:
It is perfectly fair for CEO’s to receive large compensation packages.
1. CEO’o o o s are highly educated and have years of experience in running businesses and have a unique skill set that most people do not have and therefore should be compensated for their skills
2. CEO’o o o s get paid a lot of money, just like many athletes and movie stars. There is no difference between a CEO and athlete and therefore CEO’s should not be singled out for high pay when no one really complains about athlete and movie star salaries.
3. The board of directors make the decisions regarding CEO pay and they are working on behalf of the shareholders. If they think the CEO is getting paid fairly then others should not question them.
4. Most of the CEO pay is based on stock options and an increase in stock price. If the stock price increases, then CEO’s deserve to receive higher compensation. If the stock price does not increase then CEO’s do not make nearly as much money.
Each argument paper is worth 10 points. You will lose 1 point for each reasonable argument that you do not have. For example, if you have 3 good arguments then you would get 9 out of 10 on the paper. If you have 1 good argument then you will get 7 out of 10. I will mark good arguments with a check mark and arguments that are not valid will be left blank. If you have an argument that is OK, then you will receive half credit for the
