Jessa Seewald Research Paper
Jessa Duggar Seewald had big plans to have a home birth with her baby boy just like her mom has done in the past. Things didn't end up going as planned though. Jessa did have her baby at home, but after she had to be rushed to the hospital. People was able to catch up with Jessa Seewald and get all of the details of what happened on that scary night. Her delivery ended up lasting almost 48 hours.

Jessa is now admitting that labor is hard and was different than what she had expected going into it. Seewald's son was born at a 21.5-inches and weighing 9 lb., 11 oz. Jessa had about 10 hours of contractions and almost had to head to the hospital to have her little boy. Luckily she was able to have him at home, but after the birth things didn't go the way that Jessa had expected and she ended up in an ambulance and being taken to the hospital due to excessive bleeding. Seewald admitted that she almost went to the hospital during childbirth.

Ben Seewald admits that it was hard to see Jessa in that much pain. After their son was born, Michelle Duggar called 911 due to Jessa bleeding too much. Michelle was very calm during it all, but got the ambulance out to help her daughter right away. Jessa did say she was "awake and alert" during it all. Seewald went on to explain how hard it was to change her birth plan.
