A character who story i found particularly moving was Alejandro, because he has the potential to grow and be an example not only for his community but also to this country.

Back in high school I had a lot of undocumented friends, and is incredible how hard they work to accomplish their dreams, but deep inside them i was able to feel the lack of hope they have. Since, they were not able to be part of the community by having their licenses, etc.

In the film, Joaquin is the first in his family to graduate from high school; Ola’s mother started her own bakery that now employs Americans. Are these examples of the American Dream? If so, why?
