Comparing two positions from the Norwegian Cruise Line episode, they are crew staff and recreation staff. Both positions are important for the smooth running of the ship. Guests expect to have entertainment functions to attend as well as be able to attend different social activities. According to Job Descriptions, Cruise staff must be self motivated, energetic, and flexible. Have great customer service skills and excellent communication skills, and must be willing to travel. The recreation staff sets up and facilitates any recreational activity sponsored by the cruise line. If the guests want to rock climb, or ice skate, or surf a wave and the ship has that activity than they can participate in it.
