Job Essay - 9th Grade-Graphic Design)
I am a very artistic, social, and creative person. Due to these traits that I possess, the opportunity to be a Graphic Designer truly peaks my interests. A Graphic Designer consists of many attributes to fulfill the job. These attributes are creative and disciplined communication skills, working well under pressure, and having good customer service skills. Overall, a Graphic Designer is a person who prepares final products such as posters or websites for businesses’ in terms of marketing. Although I do have the specific traits and attributes essential for the job, I still have yet to acquire the crucial knowledge needed to become a formal Graphic Designer. In this essay, I plan to assess those needs so that I can understand just what it takes to be a part of this career choice.
The first search necessary to pursue the career of Graphic Designing is the education and the training required. The first and common step made is simply obtaining a high school diploma. Many classes taken during high school such as art, English, and computer related classes can all have positive effects on your career choice. Depending on your employers opinion, you may need consecutive college years leading to a degree or you could simply take a few training courses in Graphic Design. Yet, more often than not employers tend to look for those who have received a bachelor’s degree which require four years in college. If obtaining a bachelor’s degree is not an option for you, you can also take a 2 year course in college for an associate’s degree with classes directly focused on Graphic Design. Yet again, many employers tend to look for those who hold bachelor’s degrees. The last and most important step that often decides whether you have the opportunity to get the job or not is an organized portfolio entailing examples of your best work. This will show your artistic ability and effort you have put forward.
Another important factor in deciding your career is your talents, job

The respective volumes of each solution were measured out in graduated cylinders and combined in a large beaker (to increase surface area for evaporation). With added heat to speed up the process, the water dissolved off leaving only the white powdery solid KCl. 0.937 g of substance was the final mass which since the theoretical yield was 1 g gave a 93.7% yield. Some KCl was likely evaporated with the water and some was likely lost in transferring from the beaker to the watch glass, so a 93.7% yield is adequate.…

Throughout the course of my junior year, I have been challenged to be the best artist of my ability. As a graphic designer, I have learned to view things in a different light and learned to express my creativity. Although I am still learning new things everyday about how to become a better artist, I have improved tremendously in every way ranging from the thought process all the way to finalizing each project, and I think that as the days go by I will continue to do well in my high school graphic design career, but in continuing my education in this major and working in a field closely related to it. I have produced at least 5 projects that reflect my passion for graphic design including the New York World’s Fair, currency recreation, and the handmade film poster from the first semester of my junior year and from the second half up until my most recent project, a book jacket, and an organic drink package design.…

Graphic Designers have a moral and ethical responsibility to the public. Mainstream media offers a plethora of inspiration and information for visual artists and designers alike. In recent years, the media’s journalistic integrity, or lack thereof, has been easily influenced by political agendas and bias. It is imperative for Graphic Designers to conduct as much research as possible before creating any social or political solution. The psychological and social impact of Graphic Design requires designers to have both morals and ethics. There are many tools a designer has to use at their exposal, such as: political public opinion, psychology, and media influence.…

“The Devil and Tom Walker “, a short story by washington Irving, has a precarious and melancholy mood. Tom is a very greedy man who lives in a run down house with his wife in a swamp. They both don’t care much about others that is why it is easy for the devil to make his deals with them. Only caring for herself gets the wife killed, when she thinks she can talk to the devil in a rude tone. Tom on the other hand got off with a deal that made him the devils loan shark for his town. The setting is painted in such a way that it becomes dark and creepy fast, especially when talking about Tom’s first house. “They lived in a forlorn looking house that stood alone, and had an air of starvation”(Irving 154). Tom and his wife both live in what to most…
