Jobs other than mine
When performing a piece as such as ours, there are many different roles that are played by different people. The obvious ones would be the actors and actress', but there are many people that work behind the scenes, in order for the performance to be as good as it can be. Although the main piece at the end seems to be mainly the actors, the performance would never be at its full potential without the rest of the team working behind set. These people include:
The makeup team
The person that designs and puts together the set
The lighting team
The costume team
Each one of these jobs are crucial to the performance and to the rest of the company.
The makeup team:
The people that are involved with the design making and the appliance of the makeup give the actors more of an obvious character. In my opinion the makeup team are one of the most important groups within the piece, as they basically shape the whole show. They're job is to show their work, physically on somebody's face. Whether they are ageing the given person, or simply applying a base coat of foundation, it is essential for them to do it in the correct manner, as if an actor isn't wearing makeup whilst performing, the lights will simply wash them out, and it will be harder for them to be seen properly on stage. Also, when the actor is wearing the makeup, it can be easier for them to be the part, as they are literally putting themselves into the character. The makeup team portray their work on somebody's face, as this may come across as quite simple, weeks are put into the designing of each character they are given.
The person that designs and puts together the set
The set is an essential part of the whole performance. It can steer the audience in different directions and sets the scene without anybody saying a single word. It is a lot of hard work, and time though. Easy prop needs to be discussed with the actors, and the rest of the company, the music needs to fit the script

The simple set, created by in-house designer Jeremy Imboden, was created completely out of recycled materials that were previously used in other productions. The four panels that hung as a back drop was made out of wood paneling and cardboard. There were several movable pieces; tables, chairs, coffee bar, and tombstones due to the cast potentially performing the show at an area conference. The minimal set design was truly made up by the lighting design of Travis Denton. The combinations of the colored gels and strategically placed spotlights really set the mood of each scene.…

The three terms/concepts are: casting, ensemble acting, and method acting. The cast of American Beauty won a Screen Actors Guild Award for an Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Theatrical Motion Picture in the year 2000, the ensemble acting includes the acting techniques of working together in the film shots, and the casting of the group of actors for the characters’ roles includes: Annette Bening, Wes Bentley, Thora Birch, Chris Cooper, Peter Gallagher, Allison Janney, Kevin Spacey, and Mena Suvari. In fact, some of the actors cast in the roles are not method actors per se, and their acting articulates some of the Stanislavski's System techniques which include the establishment of their own creative personal methods.…

Throughout my high school career, I have had the opportunity to participate in several dramatic plays, musicals and dinner theater. With all of these choices my favorite being musicals, but of course you have to sing. Having parts in three dramatic plays; Up the Down Staircase, Titanic-Trail and Tragedy, and To Kill a Mockingbird where I scored a lead position as the judge. Musicals being more my passion, I have been in Hello Dolly, Seussical, and Beauty and the Beast. Since our school has such a small population, it is not uncommon to have a number of character parts in the same production. As part of the crew, we are responsible for set building, costume fittings and parts memorization. I did not much care for the dinner theater style but…

You would have one less thing on your mind to worry about. You can then take those moments to catch your breath and relax while someone else, a professional no less, brings out the beauty of your face. You won’t have the concerns of “By the time I arrive at my Melbourne wedding reception, my make-up will have faded away.” Another plus is that the make-up artist will come to where you are; you don’t have to go to them. Keep in mind professional makeup artists knows what they are doing. They will know what looks best on you. They will be able to match your make-up to what style your wedding is without having you end up looking like a painted doll. They will use a foundation that matches your skin tone, and they know all the beauty tricks, from hiding the dark circles under your eyes and any (banish the thought!) stress blemishes which may pop up. Plus they know how to apply false eyelashes so they stay on and don’t come loose in the middle of a photo, leaving you looking like you have a spiders hanging off your eyes.…
