Joe Lasicki requested a claims review be conducted of The Republic Underwriters Insurance Group (Republic) Workers’ Compensation program.
Effective 09/30/16, this program went into runoff due to Republic being acquired by Amtrust Financial Services (Amtrust) in 2016 and Amtrust having no interest in participating in this program beyond Republic’s policy expiration date of July 31, 2017. With that noted, Amtrust has agreed to allow the third party administrator, Sedgwick Claim Services (Sedgwick) to continue to manage Republic’s remaining open claims inventory of 2650 plus claims, inclusive of all newly reported losses.
