Analysis of 1 John 3:1-7
There is hope in what has already been done by God on earth and the hope is shown from the first two verses of chapter 3. The text begins with the love of God which was given to us and the result of the love which is given to us by God is being called Gods children. It is not pretense or a wishing, but we are what God wants us to be in our future. God is able to call us his children and the declaration makes us be his children. The question raised while reading the first two verses is what are we before the eyes of God? We are the children of God by the love which the Father has accorded us. It is not by accomplishment that we are named the children of God.

This verse is a contradiction of most biblical writings. According to various theologists, verse 6 is denying the repetitive habits of sinning because of the present tense of the verb “sins”.
Reflection on plagiarism
There are different forms of plagiarism which might be hard for new students in colleges to understand. Copying from the internet without providing credit to the owner and paraphrasing of other peoples works. The most common type of plagiarism is failing to cite even when there are references being provided in the text. I support the issue of discouraging plagiarism and there should be effective measures taken for the students who are involved in plagiarism. One of the most effective measures to be taken to students who are involved in plagiarism is making sure that the students understand what is plagiarism and then given the assignment again to repeat. Another option is giving the students who are involved in plagiarism grade F. that is meant to make sure that the students are more serious when handling the various assignments given to them. The maximum mark which is awarded to the students who are involved in plagiarism after redoing should be 75% in order to encourage them to avoid plagiarizing their work in …show more content…
The students can be suspended for two academic years by the disciplinary board and that can affect the rate of their success in the school activities. In order to ensure that plagiarism does not affect the live soft e various students, I propose that the forms of plagiarism should have different penalties and they should not be taken to be of the same level.
