John Brown Monologue

She stepped into the buggy and put out her hand to take it. Mrs. Taylor now lay upon the the ground unconscious like a dead dog and the two elderly woman looking in awe due to the horrendous sight as the fire ate the house.

With Mary Taylor mumbling, “ John Brown I know you must must have an explanation. Put your trousers on and help me bring my mother and everyone else back to my cabin!” John Brown now pulled up his pants and went to assist the elderly woman up in the carriage to take them back home. John Brown lead the horse attached to the carriage back to the Taylors cabin. As Mary Taylor assisted her mother back to their cabin. Not a single word was said on the trip back home.

John Brown said embarrassed, “ I already told you what happened to me earlier to me today and I promise I am not lying to you.” Mary taylor looked at John Brown as if he had just insulted her. “ My straw hat blew off and fell in the creek, and floated down and lodged against a bar. I led the horse to the roadside then left my clothes in the carriage and swam for my hat and when I got out the horse started to walk to the cabin and I did not have enough time to redress.” Said, John Brown

Mary Taylor screamed, “ You are not man of god you are a insulting disrespectful thunderstorm.” John Brown left the premises and went home.

The ride home was lonely and sad like John Brown's new love life. He screamed out, “ Just a perfect storm of unexpected events! You stupid horse why did you have to walk away?” john brown now believed his entire life was now
