“Do forget to be awesome” (EBSCO). This man was an author of the ages. He didn’t just inspire adults but also the youth. He didn’t just write but helped the children in the hospital and their families. This is on John Green. As a child John suffered from anxiety and insecurity. During school he had trouble making friends. Poolos stated in the book he wrote on John Green that “ he said that he was bullied in school” (8). He stated that he graduated from kenyon college. He left with a major in religious studies. Before leaving he took writing classes. Soon he was noticed by people magazine. In his early career he wrote a book called looking for alaska. Soon he wrote a 1,100 page novel called Infinite. But before the
author's life he started at booklist. He was ready to write and then “ he wrote an abundance of catherines” (Poolos 11). One of his characters he called “ manic pixie dream girl”(Green 52). His slogan is Don’t forget to be awesome” (EBSCO). John Green has helped children and their families when the kids were in the hospital. He has made a huge impact on young adults.
