During my years I helped organized the US Military that is shaped now. I didn’t become General of the US Armies until I had to overcome jealously from senior officers that were before me. At t he Start of WWI President Woodrow Wilson named me to be the Commander of the American Expeditionary Force. I was responsible for training and supplying over 2 million troops for the army. I was promoted to full general from previous being a major general. Under my control I allowed African-Americans to fight in the war but with white officers commanding them. Under my I made the first School for Military Police called Military Police Corps School.
From all my years with the military I had greatly improved the tactics and the way things are being done. I had to overcome adversity to become where I am right now as Army Chief of Staff. At the age of 64 I had to retire from the Army as it is a law to. Coming back to the states I made improvements to veterans coming back from war. I established the Reserve Officers Association for officers, former officers and spouse of all uniformed services of the United States primarily the Reserve and the National Guard.
