WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE LED TO THIS ENCOUNTER?
This is my 2nd semester in Taiwan. Referring to Taiwan, what is the first idea that is popped up in people’s mind? Those are the night markets and the extraordinary cuisine. I enjoy the food here so much. It really attractive and abundant. But sometimes, I also come to the Vietnamese restaurants to enjoy hometown cuisine. Surprisingly, only at this specific restaurant, I catch true Vietnamese style and introduce this diner to our fellow classmates.
EXACTLY, WHAT DID THE FIRM/EMPLOYEE SAY OR DO?
First, when I came to the entrance of this place the restaurant owner and staffs greeted me with warm attitude. After the greetings of the compatriot they asked me to choose dishes by the menu with vivid images including 3 languages: English, Chinese and Vietnamese. The restaurant's menu offers traditional dishes such as spring rolls(春卷), Vietnam noodles(越式河粉) ...
The menu offers a variety of dihes delicious and affordable. Especially here, I can observe them cooking. They cook extremely fast and cleanly.
I didn’t have to wait for long time, only after 5 minutes the waitress was taking the food to my table. She is extremely friendly and is willing to chat to me. Fortunately, at this time the place was not very busy. The owner also made me a cup of Vietnam coffee. It is a free gift for a compatriot.
How cozy they made me fell!
This restaurant also has a lot of regular foreign visitors. Moreover, the waitress can speak English to these customers. The overall performance extremely satisfying to me.

WHAT MADE YOU FEEL THAT WAY?
Probably the most important factor that affected my experience and judgment at the restaurant was the way the staff treated me. Everyone with whom I was in contact behaved very courteously and friendly. Besides, it’s offers a unique decoration with conical hats and photos of women in long robes on the wall. I think not only the food taste that was delicious but also how the way they treated their customers.
WHAT COULD THE EMPLOYEE/FIRM HAVE DONE TO MAKE YOU
HAPPIER WITH THE ENCOUNTER?
In my opinion, I thought they did a great job .They made me happy and fulfilled our expectations of the service. And the most important element was that the food was really good.

If a restaurant wants to be the best, then they have to meet some criteria in order to do so. The first defying factor, is whether the atmosphere the restaurant has, is an enjoyable one. Next, in order to have a good experience at that restaurant, the service has to good. This means not only friendly service, but quick service as well. Of course the most important factor, that determines how good a restaurant is, has to do with how good the food is. If food quality is poor, then that can really put a bad image on that restaurant. In that day, the elderly I have met is almost eighty years old. When we saw each other, there was a bit embarrassing. I introduced me once and I asked some of her personal information casually. After that, I change my sit as to sit behind her to reduce the distance between us. Then I asked her what is she doing before this activity start and asked her that she have lunch already or not. And the further question is that whether the facilities and environment in there is good for her or not. Actually, the question I ask is used for me to make the atmosphere between us become more comfortable but not full of tension. Fortunately, after these questions, she changed from a quiet elderly to be a more talkative elderly and I feel great as I am glad that the counseling skills I have learned can be used.…
