Jonbenet Murder Case Essay
The murder mystery of Jonbenet may be one of the craziest unsolved murder mysteries in the world. The police don’t have enough evidence to prosecute the person that they think might have committed the murder. The cold case of JonBenet’s murder is still talked about among many people not only because the case is still unsolved but also because of her participation in child beauty pageants. In my essay I will discuss some background information on the case, The evidence, and what I think the evidence leads to. JonBenet is a six year old girl. Her father, John Ramsey, Is a wealthy businessman who enjoys golfing. Patsy Ramsey Is a stay at home mom and former beauty pageant winner. They both liked to participate in beauty pageants together She also had a older brother who is named Bruke Ramsey. During an interview with Lester Holt, Burke Ramsey was acting very strangely. For example during the interview he stated,” I think she was taken very quietly.” I think Patsy Ramsey wrote the ransom note to shift the focus of the police investigation. Her father found her in the basement. She had a huge gaping hole in her head. Her blood stained her fuzzy clothes. The killer would have already known where the basement was because the house had a weird layout. In conclusion he had knowledge of or might be involved in JonBenet's murder.It's true that Burke wasn’t convicted of murder, but I still think he did it and that he should be in jail. I believe that there is enough evidence to prosecute the ramseys for the murder of their daughter JonBenet. I think the case should be reopened and investigated by a cold case unit. JonBenet deserves justice just like everyone else. They should not be able to get away with
