Jose Neil P. Garcia Poem The Conversion

This paper is a response criticism in Jose Neil P. Garcia Poem “The Conversion”. Based on my perspective, this poem is all about the life of a gay who converted himself from being back to its original gender which is “male” because he never accepted by his father, family and even his uncle’s and auntie’s by who really he want to be, except his mother which is died. He drowning by his own father when he caught wearing his mom’s dress, he locked himself in the cabinet when he feeling alone. But at the end of the day, he accepted himself. He accepted of what is his real gender. But it seems like he gave so much challenges because his father died 5 years ago when he accepted he is a man and also his father and family accepted him on his real gender.
