Dear Hon. De Guzman:
Greetings from the General Parents Teachers Association (GPTA) of Concepcion Integrated School!
The Concepcion Integrated School at the beginning of the school year had elected new officials for the General Parents Teachers Association for the school year 2013 to 2014. We are very positive and aggressive that this school year will really make a difference in the implementation and performance of the new GPTA officials.
The Concepcion Integrated School has a vision to farther enhance its physical and logistical requirements. In this connection, we would like to ask your assistance and support to flesh-out some of these school necessities like: lights and electric fans in all classrooms. Our children would better express their study behaviour.
Furthermore, the GPTA would also request your good office for T-shirts as identification that we also compliment the school duties and responsibilities.
With high regards and respect, we look forward for your immediate response.
Respectfully yours,

Social rituals, especially the custom of formal visiting, dictated the use of each of these dresses, or gowns, as the fancier garments were called. Women also wore suits, with shirtwaists (blouses), and had sporting clothes for their more active pursuits like skating, cycling, and tennis. The suits were coordinated jackets and long skirts, and were made by ladies’ tailors rather than by dressmakers. Shops like A. & L. Tirocchi often made the blouses or waists, as they were known in…

(Choose a garment, which can be used to discuss fashion from the point of view of the consumer. This garment must be able to demonstrate how the consumer individually constructs their identity and conveys that identity through the style and styling of clothing. You should treat this garment as an object as a form of evidence, which can help you to explain theories of fashion discussed in the sessions. The intention of your analysis is to examine the ways in which we can ‘read’ objects and images, understand their meanings and explain them in the context of broader theoretical and social concerns. You should aim to be as analytical as possible. You may want to use further objects or garments or examples within your presentation to help to explain your ideas though only 1 object should be your main focus. You can either use the actual object or use images and films to analyse and discuss your findings. Therefore your essay should be supported by ideas from readings and books as well as the objects and images themselves.)…

To many Filipinos, Dr. Jose Rizal’s life had been an open book, but his works and sacrifices seems not to achieve independence for his country and countrymen but still admired and remembered up to this day. His life was full of controversies and unanswered issues about his works and beliefs. One of them was the issue of his supposed retraction. Retraction is defined as to withdraw a promise, statement or opinion.(Miriam Webster, 1999 p520). It was said that he refuted his writing against the teachings and practices of Catholic Church, returned to the Catholic faith, and abominated masonry, but there seemed to be a discrepancy in the documents linked to his retraction.…
