When I started I was very excited but nervous at the same time, but I soon settled in. Now I have completed and passed I feel more confident within myself and how I progress further into my career. At the start of the course in September 2010, we began to look at assignments at first I felt I was never going to get through this work load, however starting the course as taught me to balance my work load with daily life and I feel that I have achieved that. I kept on top of all my assignments throughout the year so that I didn’t have to rush my assignments last minute and not be happy with my final marks.
In I went on my , where I was allocated a place on During my time here I felt I had a lot of support, which made me feel more confident in how I perform in practice. Whilst I was on placement I had assignments to submit, I found this difficult, but then again because I kept on top of my work and asked for help from lecturers when I needed it I did not let it get to me as I knew I would manage once I was used to the structure of my course.
Half way through my second year, I realised that I had assignments that I more interested in than others; however I enjoyed all assignments in numerous ways. My favourite assignment was N Understanding individuals across the life span. I found the exam based on drug calculations hard but I soon got to grips with it as I received in my exam. On the other hand in I started my placement, which I was allocated . I enjoyed this placement that much I would consider working there when I qualify. I received thank you cards from all staff and presents such as, chocolates, a nursing watch and a nursing book.
From looking back at my , I have certain goals I would like to achieve in my . My main goal is to be able to improve my critical analysis within assignments, as I found that was mentioned the most on my feedback forms. Therefore I am going to research more into critical analysis so that I feel confident
