Introduction

The English language. One of the most popular languages in the world and one of the most used one too. With its origins in England which lead to greater expansion of the language until today. The language is used as an official language in more than 50 countries. One of the reasons for the English language successful expansion is its economic might. The business world is also an important factor due to the diversity of different languages there was a need for one language that the different businessmen from various countries would rely on, which is English. That resulted in even wider reach of English language to different nations. Which led to such great result and so many people are learning the language until today.

The Humble Origins

The English journey started for me before my university, school or even kinder garden. It was first introduced to me threw my family from whom I learned some of my first words. These were very simple words but later as my life progressed I learned more and more English words, primarily from my household. As I grew my interest in the language only escalated as I was exposed more to the English speaking countries, my drive to excel at it was becoming greater. One reason was that the channels were in English language like cartoons. It even gave me more reasons to try and understand what they are saying and to be able to communicate in the same manner. It later grew from just the television to books because one of my favorite books were written in English which gave just another reason to learn this language at a higher class. But those are not all of the reasons, another one was for me to communicate with people of elder age than I was, who spoke only in English. This type of drives pushed to go on further, plus my family English orientated lifestyle and the social circle as well as trips to foreign countries. All resulted in my growing need to learn the language.

A Tough Way

The beginning of learning English was relatively hard as I recall it cause getting a base is usually always difficult but worth it for sure in a long run. Starting from alphabet, numbers, months and so on. It took me years to just learn the basics. My family was a big support for me in terms that they were aiding me in whatever means I needed to excel in English. The hour’s spent and hard work. But the effort spend those days absolutely paid off now. Learning new language is always challenging because it makes you change your way of thinking to the language you learn.

Gaining The Skills

But thankfully in my case due to the early start, the tutors and the family’s aid I succeeded in no time. It was relatively easy due to the needed recourse's were provided. Knowing English proved to be very beneficial when you socialize with all the educated man I encountered. The advantages proved to be very useful throughout my life and for sure will benefit me later on. So from my teenager years I acquired my fundamentals and all that was left to do was to continue pushing myself further. Meaning all what was needed was to just improve further on. This is the most interesting time when you have the skills to improve and all you need to do is to go further. Because you received all the training you need so you are sent out to a type of battlefield, some may say which life is.

The Journey Ahead

For the future there is still allot of work to be done. But there is a saying the journey itself is what makes us happy. During the journey the 3 C should be remembered Competence, Confidence, and Clarity. One should apply them to the everyday life. Everyone should remember to follow their dreams no matter what, keep a positive attitude and aim for the future. The world is changing now so it’s pretty hard to predict what will happen in the future. But I am sure whatever the outcomes are I will do what is right.

Conclusion

English a language with enormous history that spanned a great empire to different continents and would still be world’s major language for quite some time. I became to be very fond of it. Due to Its simplicity, is sure to surprise some. The possibility that was provided by the global language are truly incredible. Some may believe that the language shall be either more or less popular over time, due to the other emerging nations. But English language will still play an important part in many lives be it in business, household or governing environments. So far English played an important role in bringing the world together by providing a language that could be learned by many people. I believe that everyone experience in learning English is different due to the uniqueness of individuals. But for sure learning English was a positive experience for me that I will always be thankful for. Through learning this language I have learned allot. I came to understand a different world, made new friends and enriched myself with knowledge. During this journey I met allot of great people who later on inspired me to improve myself not only in my linguistic or personality but how to interact with everything around me. Those experiences helped me allot throughout my young life and I bet will continue helping me further.
