Andrade’s belief is that a student without internet connection at home will be at a setback compared to their peers.
In my view, Andrade is right because until we find a free internet provider there will always be measures of students left with disadvantages compared to other students with internet. More specifically, I believe that even though there are discounted prices to acquire internet services, some may just not be financially able to pay for this, and some may not see that it will help the student enough to pay the extra money. For example, most people without internet say it is because of the financial issues, others use the excuse of they do not think it’s useful while some say they simply do not understand how to use it. Nearly every family that has wifi or an internet connection says that it has improved their children's grades. Although Andrade may object to the internet access being totally free, I maintain that if web access was free to all homes that many students would be more successful. Therefore I conclude, that internet availability should free to everyone.
