The characters in To Kill A Mockingbird quickly judge others because of rumors they’ve heard about someone which then makes the person being judged look bad, even though they’re a good person, which in turn makes others judge the judged as well because the one person judged him/her. An important thing to think about before you make assumptions about people is something Atticus told Jem. You never know a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. It’s way easier to jump to conclusions because of one thing you heard than to do more research and find out more about what you are making conclusions about.
