Its powers include interpreting the Constitution, reviewing all laws, and deciding cases involving the states’ rights. Decisions made by the Supreme Court are usually a huge importance by the Nation. All of the other courts in the United States must follow the ruling or the decision made by the justices of the Supreme Court. The Constitution gives this court the power to judge whether federal, state, and local governments are acting in correct behavior of the law. The Supreme Court can also decide if a president's action is unconditional. Federal judges can only be removed through impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction of the Senate. The reason that the wording of the Constitution are so complex is because it has to be studied & examined carefully for when questions concerning certain laws get brought up in lower courts, the justices who make up the Supreme Court are responsible for explaining the Constitution. The decisions of the Supreme Court are absolute and final if they say so. However, the decisions and judgments reached in lower courts may be appealed or questioned. Over thousands of requests for overruling decisions the Supreme Court makes each year but fewer than 150 are actually considered to be ruled
