GUIDELINES IN CONSTRUCTING THE CONTENT OF MANUSCRIPT SECTIONS
INTRODUCTION This part discusses the prevailing factors why the study is conducted. The discussion shall be done in deductive approach (global, national, and local). Commence the introduction with a general scenario encompassing the existence of the needs for the study. Then, discuss the trends and situations how the need/issue is addressed in international scene (e.g. foreign countries, universities, companies, developers, etc.). After that, discuss the trend in the national scene (Philippines). For the local, discuss the situation of the client/target beneficiary, their current approach to the problem/situation and why there is a need in conducting your study.
Statement of the Problem (Based on Business Needs) Provide an interview-based scenario of the problem in paragraph form. The problem statement should be italicized and in interrogative form immediately following the scenario.
Example:
In our country most of the visually impaired people do not know how to use computer. Many of them have jobs but their doing it manually. Blind people are not able to use computer because of their condition. How to provide the blind people trainings on how to use a computer? (See Appendix C for Fishbone Diagram)
