In Rome, Julius Caesar was ruling at 58 b.c., he was a genius and succeed from all the other cities. He created a lot of things like and one of them was the calendar. In his time there was so much religion, there were festivals based on gods used a lot of the Latin language. Back then their language was improving also and Julius decided to make the calendar a little difference. The months of the calendar were made by Julius Caesar and he based them on the gods, rulers and used root words.
When Julius was renaming the months in the calendar he even named them after himself and Augustus. His name in the month is found in July. Julius Caesar was a great leader he was very intelligent since he was the one who conquered Rome. All of his people liked him because he acted more as a leader rather than a selfish, cruel person. Even back then they have used root words to define something, to give them clues what the word means.

This is important because it teaches us how our ancestors used their brain and what type of religion they believed in.
