Julius Caesar Compare And Contrast Essay

When reading the story there are always something about them that grabbed my attention and thought it was cool and interesting about them. The difference between Mark Antony and Brutus is very interesting, there are some similarity and differences which makes it interesting thing about them. The Author is William Shakespeare, the book is called “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar”. I think the highlights of the book is when Brutus and his friends kill Caesar and Mark Antony is mad at them and gathers troops and eventually everybody dies at the end of the book. The characters to compare are Brutus and Mark Antony. One huge similarity is that they are both fighting for power. They both play huge roles and are important characters. Mark Antony and Brutus, they are similar because they are both fighting for something, there are 3 points. Contrast and they are power, wisdom, and ambitious. I think that power is important because its who can control what and Mark Antony was someone who fought for his own and tried to get revenge.
The quote explains why Antony is only fights for himself and why he is selfish. I think that one point but there is a second one that is different than brutus which shows more reason why brutus is better. Mark Antony is less wise and is to selfish and doesn’t care about what he does and doesn’t think before which makes him unwise. Shows why antony is unwise and doesn’t care about others but himself.
