Why it's important to have self respect.Because If I don't have respect for myself I won't be able to respect others . People won't be able to respect me.The little kids that I'm around will think that hitting myself and getting into trouble (doing drugs ,robbing banks ,E.t.c) and smoking and drinking is cool.If I don't respect myself it might affect the future generation.If I don't respect myself it could affect someone very important to me.For example, if I do drugs it will one affect my grades and my family members especially my mom because she'll feel guilty that I did what she did. respectinng myself is very important because I a, able to exert honesty, confidence and integrity.I also get to earn respect from other people as well as favours and love because of the fact that I love myself first.When I have self-respect, I fully love myself. I love myself for who I am on the inside and not just because of what I do, what I look like, or what I am capable of. When I have self-respect, I take pride in who I am and I know that I am valuable. Self respect is so important because if you don't have it for yourself, you can't expect anyone else to have it for you. You have to be the example of how you wish to be treated. Raise the bar a little to help draw better people into your circles.
