Throughout the play I noticed that Musson was my favorite actor every time she was on stage, no matter the character she was. I especially enjoyed her performances as Shelley Anderson. I was extremely impressed with Musson’s interpretation of her character especially with her vocal work. Musson hit the typical accent that people would expect from her character in real life just right. Musson adjust the speed of her words as needed depending on what she was saying, and used just the right tone each time she spoke whether she was answering simple questions for the reporter, or telling a story. When she was to kiss Jason goodbye while explaining the last time she saw Jason and said goodbye to him before he left for his last job on the rig, she really made sure to give a great performance with her vocal actions as well as the detail in the kiss that her and Orlando Mendez (actor who performed the role of Jason Anderson) shared. The way Musson performed that scene, really showed how much Shelley Anderson loved and missed her husband, and the very last time she saw her husband. There was happiness in being with her loved one, but a moment of this could be the last time, and the end result feeling of looking back on that being in fact the last time she saw
