SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF TIME
Dear Sir,

1. The subject work of 25-month duration was awarded to us on 26.08.2010. The work at site, as per work order No 1, was ordered to be commenced on 06.09.2010 and scheduled for completion in phases with phase II and III completion by 05.03.2010 and 05.10.2012 respectively. Phase –I works have already been completed.

2. Despite our best efforts and deployment of required resources at site, the contract could not gather the required pace of construction and resulted in this un-avoidable time over-run. Various reasons causing the delays in execution have been brought to notice of the Project Manager from time to time. Completion of this contract by the above-mentioned scheduled date had thus not been possible. We now request you to kindly consider the following grounds and revise the completion date by granting extension of time for Phase-II & Phase-III up to 30.06.2014 : - (a) We would like to bring to your notice that even after MAP Phase-I site and Nofra-II Structure completed upto terrace level in April 2012. Consultants had issued the revised structural details of Lift machine room slab/beam,Staircase mumty slab/beam and Overhead water tank of MAP Phase-I vide letter ref no:8001/MAP PH-II.244/E8 dt.06/12/2012. The structural details of Lift m/c room slab/beam, staircase mumty slab/beam, overhead tanks of Nofra-II & Nofra-I , not yet issued to us. (b) The structural details of P404 from foundation level to terrace level has been changed drastically and changed drawings have been issued to us vide letter no: 8001/MAP PH-II/218/E8 dtd 06/09/2012.
