He believed that there was a chance for everyone to live, but then again not too as this was war. It was something that to be faced. This bond of friendship lets in the guys of the war group live on on a ordinary basis. Except the fact that there is so much time to spare in fear. And from this friendships are made. This book has a complex way of showing the kindness in each person. But as for friendship helping each other out- such as, bending the rules a bit, by letting people go of there phobias. The men of war in every other with their lives created the friendship and bond that helped them live on each day in Vietnam. This friendship and bond that the soldiers shape in combat is likewise visible whilst the Narrator is wounded and leaves the men in war and runs into them at Base Camp. I felt close to them, sure, but I additionally felt a new feel of separation.
