Kaleigh Monologue
and Kaleigh got to the track there was a girl from our school there that Kaleigh and I weren't very fond of owing to the fact of what type of girl she was. The girl's name was Sydney a mean arrogant girl that wasn't very nice to many people. Sydney was surrounded by all of her friends and as we walked by they all started snickering which right then we knew that Sydney and her friends were non verbally making fun of us in a very childish way. Sydney was the leader in the friend group the sort of identity she made of herself. Her friends were super nice girls but when they were around her not so much at all. Me and Kaleigh never said anything maybe to not cause drama or we gave her the implied permission to be like that because we never stood

Crazy Ava is directly inside the open door with the EMTs at her side, fussing over her again. Except this time something is different. Lying on the sofa with her mouth half open and the paramedics kneeling over her, a fossil of an eastern bloc peasant, the type that you smell rye bread, sauerkraut and old brick dust on, her sour expression has vanished. And sure enough, she is wearing that Parasztok headscarf again.…

    Simon Krell Monologue

Blood is a fascinating hue. It’s sometimes crimson, scarlet, ruby red, or even bold red. Crimson is the stain that’s painted on my fingers, since I just accomplished a mission-to murder Simon Krell, who continued torturing his family members on a daily basis. Although he continued being a dangerous man, it was so simple to kill him that it occurred to be laughable, all the acting skills I needed was to pretend to act alike his maid and suddenly shoot the filthy person. As I laughed, my storm eyes gazed at the glowing sky that had waves of gleaming dots on it. A silver ellipse remained framed in the inky sky, supported with millions of winking balls of fire.…

“Kenbe fem Jennifer pa lage. ” Five words in Creole I heard for the first time at the crack of dawn in the East Harlem Projects. I looked over my shoulder to see if my uncle or aunt were there but I noticed my grandfather leaning against the wall with his cane, next to a picture of his hometown. He looked up at me and winked. I stood in front of him in shock because he had barely spoken to me during the times I stayed with him. I needed someone to translate my grandfather’s Creole for me so I woke up my uncle and hold on tight Jennifer, don’t give up he said. As a seven year old child, I wasn’t holding anything, and what was my grandfather talking about?…

Although most will probably say someone close to them is inspiring, like their mother, grandmother, sister. In my opinion, they are your family, and you will always love and be inspired by them. Therefore I decided to write this on how a singer is inspiring to me. Her name is Miranda Lambert. Almost none of my friends have even heard of her. I guess because maybe she’s a country singer and they don’t really like country music? Who knows, but she is quite an amazing person. She grew up in a small town in Texas. “Not having money toughened me up a bit, but I'll always be grateful. Texas people are really strong in their roots. I started writing and playing guitar at 17. I've always loved music, and my dad is a singer-songwriter.” Miranda once…

We had similar running strategies, and stayed very close to each other for the majority of the race, every time being the two lead runners that the crowd would cheer for and that the other girls were trying to catch up to. However, as we would come close to the finish, a gap would start to form between us. This gap widened, with her getting further and further in front of me until we finally got to the finish line, where she would get first place and I would get second. In my eyes, this was a huge failure. It happened every time that we competed, which was often. My teammates were aware of the one sided rivalry, as they cheered me on during the races with knowledge of how important it was for me if I won the race I wanted to be the better athlete and I knew I was capable of beating her. I was always a good sport about it. I would congratulate her on her win everytime. Yet deep down I was angry and frustrated. I would beat myself up inside because I knew my abilities, and I knew that the race could have had a completely different…
