Kappa Tau Sorority: Chapter Summary
Grace Gardner begins attending Wallace University and decides to join the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority led by the vicious Chanel Oberlin and her minions to honor her mother, who was once a member. Dean Cathy Munsch attempts to disband them due to Chanel's pervasive behavior, but sorority chief Gigi Caldwell intercedes in their favor, and, as a compromise, Kappa Kappa Tau is forced to accept any pledges who wish to become members, including Grace, Zayday Williams and Hester "Neckbrace" Ulrich, damaging Chanel's reputation and causing her self-centered boyfriend Chad Radwell, a member of the Richie Dollar fraternity, to break up with her. Ms. Bean, the house's maid, is killed in a prank gone wrong devised by Chanel to scare the pledges away, and
she convinces them to cover up the incident and hide the body in a storage freezer. Infuriated, Grace joins forces with Pete Martínez, an aspiring journalist who harbors a grudge against Chanel, to expose her crimes and restore Kappa Kappa Tau's honor. Shortly afterwards, Ms. Bean's body disappears and the girls become targets of a masked serial killer known as "the Red Devil", who fatally stabs one of the minions, Chanel #2, and beheads one of the pledges with a lawn mower.
