Kathmandu is the largest retailer of travel and outdoor clothing and equipment in
Australia and New Zealand. Founded in 1987 as a small specialist outdoor retailer in Melbourne, Kathmandu now operates in Australia, New Zealand and also the UK with a network of about 130 stores and an online shop. The company strives to provide quality, functional, and stylish products with technical attributes. Its products inspire customers to travel, explore the outdoors, engage in adventures and “Live the Dream” (Kathmandu, 2013).
