Kevin Make A Wish Research Paper
Kevin is a twelve year old that has been through several open heart surgeries. He had his first heart surgery at the age of three. Every time that he choses to run he has the chance of sudden death. Kevins whole life he couldn't do anything but sits on the sidelines and watch the big guys. Kevin could never play for any sports team that he wanted to, and always had to just watch his friends play. Kevin knew when he grew up that he was never going to be able to do what he has always wanted to, and grow up to be the best football and coach an his favorite team NFL team the seattle seahawks. A little kid that wanted to be a cop for a day is what started the whole organization. Make a wish foundation made it happen in a heartbeat considering one of the founders was married to a cop which helped that boy fulfill his dream before he died. After that one simple wish, an amazing organization was born and has helped many more little kids that have cancer and disabilities after that day. Make a wish doesn’t donate money to someone in need, they use the money that they get donated to them to help make a wish come true for a little kid. Make a wish is a national organization that tries to make everyone that is sick happy and give them a day to forget about all of it.. The make a wish foundation believes that everyone's dream should come true before they lose their battle, so make a wish tries to help with that and will go out of there way and try as hard as they can to get what the unfortunate people not only what they need but what they want as well. . They want to make sure that every kid gets to do what they have always dreamed of even if they are disabled or have a really bad illness. They try to help as many kids as they can which they do while they are helping someone every 40 minutes(make a wish).
